In Part I of How to Make a Difference, youth learned the difference between charity and social justice and were introduced to the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching. The purpose was to demonstrate the importance of having a lasting vision for building a just society and living lives of holiness in a broken and suffering world. It is on this foundation that youth can now move toward action.
In part II, youth will identify what their own values, passions, and skills are and how to bring them together to take action on a social justice issue that is important to them. All teens and families are invited to sign up today! If you weren’t able to attend part 1, that’s okay. We will do a very brief review at the beginning of this session so everyone’s on the same page.

En la Parte I de Cómo marcar la diferencia, los jóvenes aprendieron la diferencia entre la caridad y la justicia social y fueron presentados a los siete temas de la Doctrina Social Católica.
