LECTORS
Lectors play an important role reading a Biblical text in each Mass.
A Lector is a practicing Catholic, high school age or older, who has received the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Lectors should have a love for the Scriptures and be willing to spend time with the Scripture prior to their scheduled turn to read. Ministers serve at Sunday Masses, holy days and special feasts on a rotating basis. Training and ongoing formation will be provided.
