ALPHA is a way for all of us to grow stronger in our faith… no matter where we are in our faith journey. People who know little or nothing about Jesus are introduced to who Jesus is, what the Bible is, what prayer is, and who the Holy Spirit is.

People further along in their faith journey have the opportunity to reflect on who Jesus is to them, to go deeper into prayer, and to allow the Holy Spirit to move in their lives.

Our parish will begin an ALPHA ZOOM session Thursday, May 14 from 6:45—8:00 PM, each Thursday evening for eight weeks. 

Here are some FAQs about ALPHA ZOOM.

 What will be the same about ALPHA and ALPHA ZOOM? There will still be the same great content with the opportunity for discussion with others.

 What will be different about ALPHA and ALPHA ZOOM? We will be doing the sessions online. So instead of coming to the parish, you will join us from your own home. We will gather together for the opening, watch a video together. Following the video, we will break up into small groups for discussion. At the end of the discussion time, we will all rejoin the large group for our closing.

 Can anyone join ALPHA ZOOM? Yes, it is for anyone 18 or older! You don’t have to be Catholic, you don’t even have to be Christian to join in.

 I’ve never done zoom before. What do I need to get started on ALPHA ZOOM?. You can zoom on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Whatever device you use, it ideally will have a mic and a camera so you can participate in the session. Zoom is similar to Skype, which many of us are familiar with.
